  • 10:15 AM to 2:30 PF (Habitat Tour hosted by CO FBWB)
  • 9:00 AM Updates and Review from CO PF Farm Bill Wildlife Biologists
  • 10:00 AM– Questions and answers
  • 10:15 AM Depart for Habitat Tour
  • 2:30 PM Habitat Tour Ends

2014 Colorado Pheasants Forever Habitat Tour Schedule
Departs at 10:15 AM on September 6, 2014 from CSU Extension Office in Sterling, CO

  1. Crook-Tamarack State Wildlife Area – PF Truax Drill- Grass Conversion
  2. Fleming- CRP – Disking and inter-seeding demonstration project
  3. Haxtun-Corners – Corners for Conservation Switchgrass Planting
  4. Haxtun – Mid-contract management disking and NRCS Cover Crop
  5. Haxtun – Grass enhancement using the PF Truax Drill
  6. Fleming – Grass enhancement
  7. Fleming – Pollinator planting; PHIP Juniper/Plum planting

Please pack a lunch. We will eat at one of the stops in the field.
